When the mod is released I plan to make this a site dedicated to HL SKATEBOARDING mapping, with tutorials an all.          

THE DESCRIPTION:

The map is set in an abandoned little town in the middle of the mountains, or hills, or rocks (whatever). There has been like an avalanche of rock (or whatever you call it) and the once perfect town in now dead. The skaters can perform tricks from parts of houses lying about or perhaps use the rocks them selves. There will be plenty of grindable object such as broken street lights and wrecked cars and broken railings from stairs. I also had the idea of making like an underground section, like a fallout shelter, where you could grind beds and broken tables can be used as ramps.  I NEED NAMES!!!!  Send your ideas to : [email protected] or post them here.

These screenshots were taken straight from the Worldcraft window (because I don't have the time to compile it again) so they may not look as good as the finished product might.  There is no lighting or sky in these pictures either and you cant see the cool fire, smoke and falling rock effects I have added.

 Another view of the first wrecked house. A grindable street light, knocked over by rocks. Shows the possible grinds and jumps in the house. Even more possible grind and jumps in the house. Upstairs (what stairs?) of the house (will have a toilet). The whole first section of the map.

Another bench done.  I am making some good progress now.  But I still need a name!!!

THINGS TO DO:

Make a couple of fucked up benches  -complete Feb, 19 2001

Post a screen of them. -complete Feb, 19 2001

Get on the team :D -complete Feb, 19 2001 (woohooo)

Make another house.

Post a screen of that.

Fix my crap cliffs.

Make some more street lights.

Finish that broken fence going round the house.

Add in some lighting.

Compile and take some in-game shots.

Post them here.

Make a fucked up car.

Post a screen.

Make a bomb shelter thing.

Take screens.

Cover up the mistakes.

Name map.

Texture everything properly.

Right a .TXT file.

Post the fully finished shots at Hl Skateboarding.

Make another map, this time a skatepark.
